Towson University graduate and Patapsco Distilling founder, Scott Jendrek got started brewing his own beer 20 years ago. A career in biotechnology piqued Scott’s interest of the fermentation process. He spent the next two decades crafting his skill. The process of brewing beer and distilling spirits are actually identical in the early stages. A few years ago, a turn toward distilling spirits made with local, Maryland grain became Scott’s passion.

Love this place! Particularly Friday nights in the summer when they have a food truck and live music. They make a killer Lime Crush, and their Old Fashion is incredible too!

My favorite local bar. They distill their own products and have a small bar on site. Everything is great, but be sure to get the blood orangecello and the nocino when they are available! Live music on summer Fridays.
